Eric Franklin

Hello, 

I am a musician, audio artist, mix engineer, lighting designer, and video producer.

A recent graduate with the Arts and Entertainment Technologies program at the University of Texas at Austin.  I hope to support the design, composition, and production of sound, video, and multi-media design. ​

​

My education at The University of Texas has focused me on live events, sound engineering, lighting and music production. My nearly 3 years of work at the Cactus Cafe as a technician has awarded me hands on experience that has worked in unison with my curriculum. 

​

A musician at heart, I am actively performing as a solo act and alongside my band, Waiting For Birds. In addition to writing and composing songs, I am a singer, guitar player, and drummer. My time as a sound engineer for bands at the Cactus Cafe has opened me to the network of music here in my home town of Austin, Texas.

 

While not working, I indulge in my passions of poetry, illustration, and the outdoors with friends and my ever loyal Pit bull mix, Leavi.
